AGE TO WORK ON FARM WITH HORSES

  • -Over 18 years old .
  • -Women and men of legal age and European nationality.

ENGLISH LEVEL TO WORK ON FARMS AND STABLES

  • -Middle English .
  • -Minimum English level B1-B2, depending on the job. 

PROFILE OF CANDIDATES TO WORK WITH HORSES

Complete the registration application and specific form  8 weeks before  the desired start date.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

  • 1 passport size photograph and photographs riding a horse, working with horses, etc.
  • Cover letter indicating the reasons for participating in the program, preferences, experience related to the chosen program, skills, etc. in the language of the country to visit. Minimum 1 page on one side.
  • Letters of recommendation, indicating the telephone number and address of the person or company that signs it, in the language of the country to visit or with a translation attached.
  • Medical certificate for stays of more than 10 weeks.
  • Criminal certificate.

Conditions of Contract for Farms Ireland

Participants will ONLY travel when the job has been confirmed, when all the conditions are correct, they have accommodation, and there is a closed start date. We offer two different positions depending on your level of experience.     

GO PROFESSIONAL WITH HORSES AND PONIES ON FARMS IN IRELAND

He works in equestrian schools, races, competitions and horse breeding. Anyone applying for this option is expected to have previous experience with horses and be able to provide references.

The salary is higher than that of a stable boy.

Accommodation conditions are different depending on the position offered:

  • Horses and ponies for pleasure.
  • hunting competitions.
  • Careers. 
  • Horse riding and riding schools. 
  • Horse breeding establishments. 
  • Competition stables. 
  • Polo stables.

WORK AS A STABLE BOY / AU PAIR GROOM IN IRELAND

This job has the same living and working conditions as a conventional au-pair. You live like one more member of the family, you have full board and you can access all the facilities as a member of the family: your own room, access to laundry service, access to TV,...

In exchange for the work you do with the animals, you will receive a slightly higher pay than Au Pair.
As a general rule, they work 5 days a week and have 2 days off to attend English classes or other activities.
